A Note To Contractors:

Errors in contractor policies are very common – much more so than you might think.
Remember that the rules change every year, so ask yourself the following questions:
- When is the last time that you (or your agent) reviewed Chapter 440 of the Florida Statutes which covers workers’ comp? Or the latest promulgations from NCCI? (Who is that?) Or the Scopes Manual? (What is that and why is it important?)
- When is the last time you (or your agent) went over your Mod Worksheet? Are you sure that it is correct? Errors here are very common and could be costing you thousands of $$$.
- When is the last time that your agent even discussed an alternative plan? Or ways to save money within your existing program? You might be surprised to find out what is available… Again, the rules change yearly and available programs do too…
- Audits – We are always glad to help with the audit process which can be complex and frustrating in the construction industry.
